Thanks for visiting IDM! IDM (IDM, "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. When it comes to your personal information, we believe in transparency, not surprises. That's why we've set out here what personal information we collect, what we do with it and your choices and rights.

Some key terms
In our Privacy Policy, when we refer to "Users", we mean our customers who use our Software/Services, including visitors to our sites. We explain who we are in the "What is IDM?" section below. The users, visitors and customers of our sites are "End Users". Any other capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings in our Terms of Service.
How does this Privacy Policy apply?
This Privacy Policy describes what we do with personal information that we collect and use for our own purposes (i.e., where we are a controller), such as your account information and information about how you use and interact with our Services, including information you submit to our customer support as well as certain information relating to End Users. This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information of our employees or job applicants (except to the extent employees or job applicants are Users).
Personal information we collect
We collect certain personal information from Users to facilitate the URL shortening and analytics process. This may include the User's name, contact details (email address, phone number), and any additional information required for registration purposes.
Information you provide to create an Account, specifically name, email address and your company name. If you sign up for Paid Services, we receive a portion of your payment information from our payment processor (such as the last four digits, the country of issuance and the expiration date of the payment card) and we ask you to select your jurisdiction.
Your marketing preferences for email subscription
The email and other communications that you send us or otherwise contribute, such as customer support inquiries or posts to our customer support software or forums. Please be aware that information on public parts of our sites is available to others.
Information you share with us in connection with surveys, contests or promotions.
Information from your use of the Services or Users' sites. This includes: IP addresses, preferences, web pages you visited prior to coming to our or our Users' sites, information about your browser, network or device (such as browser type and version, operating system, internet service provider, preference settings, unique device IDs and language and other regional settings), information about how you interact with the Services and our Users' sites (such as timestamps, clicks, scrolling, browsing times, searches, transactions, referral pages, load times, and problems you may encounter, such as loading errors).
Information we get from our partners to support our marketing initiatives, improve our Services and better monitor, manage and measure our ad campaigns, such as details about when a partner shows you one of our ads via their advertising platform.
Other information you submit to us directly or through Third Party Services if you use a Third Party Service to create an Account (based on your privacy settings with such Third Party Service).
How we collect personal information
The personal information is collected from various sources. We do this in three main ways:
You provide some of it directly (such as by creating an Account).
We record some of it automatically when you use our Services or Users' sites (including with technologies like cookies).
We receive some of it from third parties (like when you register for an account using a Third Party Service or when you make payments to us using our payment processor).
How we protect your personal information
We prioritize the security and protection of User information. We employ reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure of personal information by:

- Having up to date computer security such as passwords, encryption, firewalls and WAF by Cloudflare .
- Encrypting the passwords and tokens with advanced algorithms.
How we use your information
At IDM, we will never sell your collected personal information to third parties. The personal information collected from Users is used solely for the purpose of URL shortening and analytics process. We may use the provided contact details to communicate important product information, updates, and upcoming changes in the API.
Update your personal information
IDM will do its best to ensure that your personal information is correct and kept current. A customer service representative would contact you to verify your personal information before any decisions are made or action is taken based on that information. We will keep your information as long as is necessary to continue to meet your needs as a customer and any legal requirements we may have. However, once your personal information is no longer needed, we will destroy it.
If your personal information changes, please update your profile or inform us of the change and any other information you feel is necessary. Also, if your personal information is incorrect, then please notify us of the correct information.
Third-party processors
We do not sell, trade, or rent User information to third parties for marketing purposes. However, we may engage trusted third-party service providers who assist us in delivering our services (e.g., cloud hosting, data storage etc). These providers are contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality and security of User information.

Data retention
We retain User information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Agreement and comply with legal obligations. Once the information is no longer required, we will securely delete it.
All the short links, analytics reports are automatically deleted or archived after 3 years depending on the subscription plan or enterprise agreement:

Legal compliance
IDM may share your data if we believe disclosure is reasonable and necessary to comply with laws, regulations, legal requests, judicial requests, or governmental requests, and to enforce or investigate possible violations of our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy, or otherwise address security or technical issues that may lead to possible violations.
With your consent. We may share some of your information(name, your product review etc) to a third party with your affirmative consent. For instance, we display personal testimonials of happy customers in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. Limited use policy
This Limited Use Policy governs data obtained via third-party APIs (e.g. Signup with Google). Information is strictly utilized for designated purposes and won't be disclosed, stored longer than needed, or used beyond original intent. Adherence to API providers' terms and privacy guidelines is ensured.
IDM use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to the agreement
We reserve the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of any material changes, and continued use of the IDM after such changes will constitute acceptance of the updated Agreement.
